Freshers’ is upon us and over the week music will be the focus, especially as you’ll have access to The Forum Hertfordshire on campus where you can dance the night away. So here’s a selection of tracks to aid you in getting your groove on.
‘Bonkers’ – Dizzee Rascal & Armand Van Helden
You’ve arrived on campus for the first day. You have new places to explore and new people to meet with so many activities to do; it’s all a bit overwhelming and a tad bit bonkers!
‘Don’t Sing (feat. Benny Sings)’ – DATA
Thinking about heading down to the The Forum to show off those moves you spent all summer practising? This is a great hit by DATA to put you in the mood as you’re getting ready.
‘Freedom’ – Pharrell Williams
That’s it, you’ve left the nest and moved in to your own student accommodation. You have as much freedom as you want. So go ahead and express that with Pharrell!
‘Bills’ – Lunchmoney Lewis
This one goes hand in hand with Pharrell Williams ‘Freedom.’ I bet that student loan looks so nice to spend but most of it will to have to go on bills! Lunchmoney Lewis has a great take on the harsh reality.
‘Tubthumping’ – Chumbawamba
This is possibly the best party song of all time and goes together well with a game of beer pong. I guarantee at least one of your flatmates will be singing this out loud once you put it on!

‘I Found Out’ – The Pigeon Detectives
It’s nearing the end of the week. Rock out with The Pigeon Detectives as they’re even playing The Forum on Thursday!
From dance floor fillers to having a good old rock out; this playlist will surely get you up on your feet and in the mood to enjoy Freshers 2015!
