Let's not forget about Warner Bros Studios Leavesden (where Harry Potter was filmed).
Other locations in Hertfordshire have been used for filming (in particular Hatfield House) where music videos have been filmed (like Little Mix's Woman Like Me and the Jonas Brothers' Sucker Videos) and various period films or series such as The Favourite, Bridgerton and Pennyworth.
There are plans for two separate film and TV studios in Hertsmere, along with the Sky Studios Elstree Complex, which is currently under construction, according to a whtimes article.
The article also includes a comment from Morris Bright MBE, Hertsmere Council Leader, said Hertfordshire's current and future studio plans, it "really does mean the return of British Hollywood to our borough".
Not to mention, the plans proposed plans for the Hertswood Studio is likely to be located between the A1 and Rowley Lane. The studio will be named after the borough, county and the nearby town of Borehamwood.
The various plans for film and TV studios will see Hertfordshire become a national and potentially global hub for the entertainment industry.
